Hello,
I have just accepted a job offer working in North Omaha near the Reserve at the Knolls. My husband and I have been looking at min of 2 bedroom apartments and town homes (I'll just say apartments from now on) in the area. The big points for us are close to my job, at least 2 bedroom (a bedroom and office), a decent kitchen (no galley style), a good sized living room (gamers gotta have room for that big screen), and washer dryers in apartment or hookups available.
EDIT: After talking a bit more we both decided we'd prefer a townhome or duplex over an apartment.
I'm writing to ask for suggestions regarding whether there are any apartments or areas we should avoid and perks of any good apartments. I think my max for rent is probably around $900, but if we can find something that fits my needs cheaper all the better.
Some of the apartments I've checked out online so far are:
Country Estates Townhomes
Bluffs at Cherry hills townhomes
Regarding internet, I am leaning towards Cox because their website provides much better information than Comcast's
