Hopefully they don't fence it off, its a good spot for train watching.

This will probably be a disappointment, but it's going to be a parking lot to serve employees of the Rail & Commerce Building at 9th and Mason.

Still, it will be a slight improvement over what is there now. It will have nice trees and landscaping. It will also bring a good amount of activity to that spot.

7th and Pacific

Vacant piece of land on the North side of Pacific by the Amtrack station is looking for a rezoning from Rail Road to CBD. The land was sold last fall and the owners address goes back to Bluestem Energy. The LLC is called 8J.

Anyways lots of those are clues that something may be planned here.
