I much prefer Q'doba to Moe's.

In my recollection, I ate at Moe's a couple of times during their short foray into the Omaha market. The food wasn't anything memorable.. But what I do remember was how annoyed I was when I walked in and the employees yelled out "Welcome to Moe's!!!".. I know that's their "Schtick" but..

I thought it was so hokey...

Most people probably think to go to Qdoba as an alternative to Chipotle around here.

Yeah. From what I recall, Moe's jumped in..then jumped out of the Omaha area rather quickly.. In a year or less..

Perhaps it's time for them to re-evaluate the market a la Cost Plus World Market (for example)...

No surprise, we acquired too many fast food mexican joints over the years.

Looks like NO

Just got around to looking at their web site and they do not even Show Nebraska now on their Locations page.

Looks like the Moe's in Bellivue closed.  Was at Lansky's tonight in the same plaza as Moe's and there was a truck backed up to the location loading out furniture.  The signs were off the building too.  This is the one at 40th or so and 370

Double confirmed, Moe's is closed.

The location on center sucks for getting in and out of there.  If Mo's closed the this just adds to the list of stores that have already closed in that fairly new strip

Actually a friend of mine would always go to the Moes on Center every Friday with his family for dinner.  As of last week, they pulled up in the parking lot which was empty and saw a sign on the Moe's window that they have moved on/closed and that if you had gift certificates or coupons, they worked things out with the Bellevue location to accept it.  Also if you look on the Moe's website, the only location in Nebraska now is the Bellevue location.

My family goes to the one in Bellevue pretty regularly and get great service and decent deals, but we went to the one on Center once and it was a totally different experience.

Pretty sure Moe's is still in the strip mall.

CheeBurger CheeBurger went out from there.

They also just opened a BeunoTaco in that area.
Taco Beuno Opened last Nov / Dec or so.  I ate there on their grand opening day when I was burning some vacation between Turkey day and Xmas.

The CB CB location is now opened as Ant Emma's and serves their food family style.  Been there once and I will probably give it a second try to give it a fighting chance.  Based on the firs time I was there I would not imagine that they will be their too long either.

IT seemed like there was business at Moe's as recently as a week ago when I went by on my way to TGI Friday's

Moe's W Center Closed?

by Guest » Sun Jun 10, 2007 10:45 pm

I heard a mexican food joint fitting the description of Moe's around 175th & Center closed recently.  Moe's website indicates the only one in the area is in Bellevue.  I have eaten there maybe 2 weeks ago so if it did close it must have been recently.  Anyone back this up?
