Today the City Council is meeting to vote on the Downtown Redevelopment Plan to include the lots for the buildings on 11th and Douglas. This is a very important decision because if this is approved, then the plan to purchase the buildings and then tearing them down will have a chance to move forward...

Yes, all of phase 2 (seen in the images above) is on the dry side of the leeve, adjacent (to the north) of the Iowa West Headquarters that HDR is designing.

Phase One of the park was actually designed to flood, just like the riverwalk in Chicago.

River's Edge Park was finally announced today by the City of Council Bluffs so I can finally share the images associated with the project.
