A good addition to community offerings. But, it was confusing to post about Dry Spokes under the Shucks subject. My first thought was that Dry Spokes was replacing Shucks. The wording above didn't clarify this, nor did the KETV story until the very last sentence. (They're neighbors.)

I wasn't sure whether to post this under Fiserv or look for a Covid thread. Sorry if this is the wrong place. Apparently Fiserv has just re-closed all Omaha buildings due to Covid. (Not a huge deal this time of year as many employees are taking time off.)

Oh no.
I can't imagine two places further apart in "culture" than Firehouse and BK. One shouts "Welcome!" to you when you come in the door (reminiscent of Gates in KC, for those familiar with them) and the other totally ignores you when you come in the door.

I'm saddened to see such a specialty restaurant gone from our Omaha options. The World-Herald interview indicated the owner said business was great. I'll miss their unique items and friendly service, not to mention the location.

There were indeed, at one time, a location near 120th & Blondo and one near 72nd & Pacific. I haven't been to either in a long while so I don't know if either still exists.
