Pictures of Omaha
Hey, just wondering if any of you guys know where I can get a good picture of Omaha to hang up in my place? Perhaps a few of you have extra one's that I can buy off of you? Keep me in the loop...

Metered Ramps
I've seen them here in Milwaukee as well as Chicago. Do other cities implement these? Does anyone foresee this occuring for I-80 or 680 eventually? Now Milwaukee doesn't have a 10 lane freeway like I-80 so the I-states here run more like a highway. Even traversing Chicago, I've only seen for the mos...

Wasn't there a link in the paper that said AF would only be chosen if a new tenant was secured? The paper makes it sound like nothing's been locked in, but if it were picked I thought there was a number thrown out in the realm of 1,500 workers? I accentuated it a little. Or maybe I was sawin'...

Well no doubt I'd rather be in DM than GB. What I was getting at was Green Bay has one winter sports event that I know of, and obviously they support the heck out of the Pack. DM's situation is similar, and you look to be supporting your tema pretty well. Comparably, we've got 3 hockey teams on top ...

This forum is really getting very unwelcoming to outsiders to the point where it's getting to be a turnoff to visit here. Hmmm. I'm not sure where you're getting this?? It's no different than the DSM site. I sense tension in people's posts towards Omaha as well. It's a two-sided affair, and most co...

The fact remains... Iowa is at least averaging more than most of the AHL franchises (which are on average in larger markets as well) Simple isn't it? Too many other things to do in the larger markets, including Omaha. What other games are you going to check out in Des Moines during the winter? Drak...

University Club Tower is what our next condo tower should emulate. This thing's going up about 6 blocks from my apartment right next to the Kilborn Tower (at 30 stories). It's interesting watching the progress. Most of the condo's here in Milwaukee are going up along the lakefront away from the CBD ...

You mean I-39 from Davenport to Rockford, or I-88 from Davenport to Aurora/western Chicago burbs... cause 88 doesn't go anywhere near rockford (and I only ask because both are extremely depressing ). Only thing I've ever seen worse is driving across Kansas. Yea basically I-88 from Davenport to...

What happened in Waco (besides Koresh's Branch Davidians) - or did you mean Roswell? I think you're right Coyote. For some reason I vaguely remember seeing a special on TV about Texas sightings... Waco always just stuck to mind, of course this was when I was just a young lad... and at that age stor...

Maybe I'm misinterpreting your point, but I completely disagree with that suggestion... the zoo is the ONE thing a vast majority of Omahans absolutely love and follow extremely closely. Well no doubt people would be happy about it. Count me as one of those people who enjoys the zoo too, but it's so...

Think about driving from Ankeny or Altoona to Jordan Creek, for example, and the trip is longer than West O to Mall of the Bluffs...even though Des Moines is smaller. Hence why we're one of the 25 densest cities. Omaha has no real leap frog development to speak of.. it just builds upon the next exi...

Yea, that first one is devastatingly beautiful. Skyscape sort of looks like the Townsend proposal. I like the curvy design of the Eclipse condo... it has that electric green color that I love (reminiscent of One Renaissance Place). Grant Park looks awesome.. there's something similar in Milwaukee, a...

Hey Count... when you can put up the money to build anything close to even what America First is proposing... then tell them to 'get the f out'. Sorry, my blood was pumping and I was acting out of instinct! Honestly though, to tell you the truth, I'd rather we keep the old U.P. building than replac...
