Re: 2016 Legislature
Let me get this straight.........We are going to prosecute men and send them to prison by the dozens just for even looking at bad pics on the internet but we are going to make it legal for men to go in bathrooms with young underage women. Yeah even a clock is right once a day and Ricketts is right ...

Re: Rows on South Hill (Johnston & Son Funeral Home)
Not to contribute to derailing this discussion, but I'm also a big fan of back-in angle parking. Backing in to perpendicular parking is safer too, and unless I need to load or unload bulky stuff from the trunk, I generally back into typical surface-lot spaces too. It's a simple matter of doing the ...

Small update: the first phase of 7 townhouses on 10th street will have their footings by early March, and will be complete by early June.
The 2nd phase/row will have footings around June.

Re: Bonefish Grill set to open this spring..
14 Bonefish Frills are closing down. Are they not doing good elsewhere? One opened here in a new development in Minneapolis about a year ago. It doesn't seem to be doing well. It's always been empty when I walk past it during peak hours. Which seems odd for Minneapolis because there is almost no co...

Re: Westroads Development
For those disappointed by the announcement of the Container Store, I'm curious if you've ever been to one. It's really more than just shelves of plastic boxes or totes. Think of ANYTHING storage or organization related for EVERY room in your house from Target, Home Depot, Bed Bath & Beyond, Men...

Re: Westroads Development
Also, I'm not sure why sometimes people on this board think that an officially-released, photo-realistic rendering is not what the building will really look like. A lot of times the final design changes from the initial renderings. Sometimes they are more subtle things but other times the design ma...

Re: Westroads Development
Hi all, First post here. I just wanted to quickly say, unlike most of the sentiments here, I'm glad the Container Store is going in the space. I'm moving back to Omaha later this year, and this is one of the few stores I was going to miss that's in Minneapolis (but not Omaha). This is for 2 reasons:...
