Re: Newpark Dallas -- Lanoha Development

Dallas is just an economic juggernaut, I look for it to pass Chicago someday. It’s not the most beautiful looking city but they sure know how to make an economy hum and it remains affordable for a big metro. Population is one thing. GDP is another. It may be a long time, if ever, before Dallas ecli...

Re: Omaha to Lincoln Railway

Pretty clear the stops would have to be Downtown Lincoln and somewhere on the east fringe of Lincoln. Then there would likely be stops in Gretna, Southport, Ralston and Downtown Omaha. Move the eastern fringe of Lincoln to Waverly. Add a stop in Ashland Combine the Ralston and LaVista stops. That's...

I agree that if the train takes longer than one hour, nobody is going to use it. If I were to take the train from Omaha to Lincoln, I will first have to arrange for someone to drive me to the train station, I'll have to wait for a bus or taxi to take me to the train station, or I'll have to drive m...

I've probably said it a couple times in this thread, but you can do much better deep dish than Giordanos anyway. While it's the most widespread one, it is definitely not in the same tier as the others. I'd visit Lou Malnati's when I'd travil to Chicago. NOW you're talking! Lou Malnati's is a legend...

Who gave you those time tables? The CTA Red Line train from Lincoln Park to the Jackson station downtown should only take 10-12 minutes. From Edgewater to Jackson, about 21-23 minutes. Of course, add any walking minutes you have to do on either end.

The Trump logo is on the Chicago River/Wacker Drive side of the building. While large, it is still fairly tasteful to me.
