Re: Logan Building to go Apartments (18th and Dodge)

A Street obstruction, what does that mean?
Is a piece of building falling on the street or does it mean they will obstruct the street during the work performed?

Barricades all around the building...I’m worried.

Re: Logan Building to go Apartments (18th and Dodge)

Today I got word concrete barricades went up around the old Logan. Anyone know what’s going on? I sure hope it’s renovation not demolition.

Re: North 90th st. Bakers, Gordmans, Shopko

I would tend to agree that the Shopko center is thr better shopping center. There a lot more business there, 3 restaurants, the dollar store and First National Bank and they just did some work on their building. The church left the Bakers center. The only ones left there would be Hong Hing, Papa Mur...

North 90th st. Bakers, Gordmans, Shopko

I was just wondering if anyone has any news about North 90th street. This is my neighborhood and things have been closing like crazy. The rumors on the Nextdoor app. Are all over the place and I'd really like to know if there is a plan for the empty Shopko and Gordmans building. Bakers is still open...

Re: 84th street Methodist to pacific (street widening?)

That must be a very major street project. Maybe sewer is involved also?

Re: 84th street Methodist to pacific (street widening?)

My first thought was disease or the dreaded ash bore. I've seen many pines coming down around town because of disease. From what I could tell there was no one type of tree but pretty much every tree. Besides, these trees were not only on city property but in homeowners yards. Wouldn't make sense tha...

84th street Methodist to pacific (street widening?)

I have noticed that there are many many trees marked for removal on 84th street from about Methodist hospital all the way to pacific but only on the west side of the street. I also noticed that utilities are marked. Anyone know what's going on? Did the hospital buy all those houses? Thanks in advance.

Can anyone confirm the contract between the city and tetrad for the new development? I'm getting conflicting information.

Re: Tetrad Development (Civic Auditorium)

I made several calls to Spiritas wreaking and left voicemails in reguards to the flagpole. I offered to remove the flagpole during off hours (to not hold up demolition) free of charge, I even offered some money if they let me salvage it. I made it clear I had insurance to cover liability. No call ba...

Re: NE corner of 132nd & Fort

From what I know the property has not been sold. The owner is milling all the trees into lumber. They haven't had much interest in the property as is so clearing the land was the next step. The house will be gone within the next month. All outbuildings are being dismantled for salvage. My first post...
