I'm pretty sure the street lights are actually high pressure sodium which is slightly better in color than low pressure sodium.  I don't believe I've ever actually seen low pressure sodium but it is supposed to be really nasty on colors.  The "white" lights are metal halide and they don'...

I noticed Friday afternoon that the store on north 72nd looks done on the outside except for a sign. I stand corrected, for some reason I thought the storefront of the 72nd street Walmart was similar to the one at the Irvington exit.  Obviously it is MUCH nicer.  I do not know when the permits were pulled for the Walmart, I do know they were moving dirt around for a long time before construction ...

Um, I'm glad Omaha's new design standards prevent big, ugly, boxy looking stores, with little or no landscape... Actually, they were able to get the permit through before the design standards took effect. Is it my imagination or did not Wal*Mart start their construction project on 72nd Street in Om...
