Re: 1200 Landmark Center
12th Street should connect from the Old Market to the Gene Leahy Mall. Not sure how, but it should.

Re: Nebraska Basketball 2019-20
Oh no.....Nebraska just lost to UC Riverside by 19 points. Bad start. Yeah I can't take away any positives from that game. Nothing seemed to work. I do wonder if this land would be bought up and raised as part of Rivers Edge expansion.

Re: Capitol Place Apartments - 10th and Capitol
I noticed earlier in the week that the retail space was being divided up on the first floor. I was hoping that whole first level would become a grocery store, based upon rumors I had heard around Downtown.

Re: 1200 Landmark Center
A new facade would do wonders for the data center, especially if they could carve out retail spaces on the ground level facing the new Leahy Mall.

Re: Westroads Development
I'd have to guess that Westroads is going to start dying like other metro malls as retail continues to decline. It'd be interesting to see if that facility could convert spaces into a wider variety of uses, like an MCC Campus, medical clinics, offices, even residential.

One of the example buildings is "The George" hotel in College Station. That development has had mixed results.

Re: Civic Square (former Civic Auditorium)
- A 6-story "civic" building that combines MUD HQ as well as the Nebraska State Offices.
- A 5-story new Omaha PD HQ.
I'd prefer these items get placed down by the jail somewhere. There's a lot of empty space on that complex.

Its a bummer this development can't be right on the corner with those parking spaces included elsewhere in the design somewhere.

I'd rather just name it after a street going through the neighborhood, calling it "Farnam Park" or something like that to keep the "park" in the name.
