If they were gonna close it now, why not just go ahead and 4-lane it instead of having this exact same headache again in 10 years? I think it's mainly about cost. It looks like a big pour is getting ready to start today. Pump being set up and many tents are up for breaks for the workers.

I feel like once this concrete cures (maybe a week) we will see it go vertical fast!

Half million for a study. As someone who used to drive this road regularly, it just "needs" 3 lanes between 144th and 90th. For the rest of West Maple, if there's an issue, it's due to light timings. Bike trail would be fantastic, make it wide. Agreed that light timing is the bigger issue...

Yes, the southeast (Costco corner) has quite a bit of dirt that was moved last week.

Now the only part of 180th and Maple without movement is northwest.

I keep checking to see if the (maybe) broken-down excavator will ever move. I don't think it has moved since December. Last week it looked like they were working on it.

It looks like it is taking up some valuable space in the staging area.

Curious to hear if there has been any update on this complex. Is everything being left vacant while legal proceedings/insurance claims take place?
