Re: Nebraska Crossing Village District
Who really knows but those two? My speculation is that they are not set on anything if it is tied to the right $$$$, as would be the case for almost anyone. They were proud enough of "Knight Owls" that they invested in concept merch to show the NHL commissioner and were really giddy annou...

If you missed Grow Omaha this morning, we announced that the arena will be called “Prairie Green Arena“. It is not a naming rights name, it’s a nod to the carbon neutral plan for the arena.. “Prairie Green Arena”? Are the arena and team name set in stone? Any info Brad? I haven't heard anything on ...

The website also list the WNBA as an option in the lone survey question. I know the WNBA is aiming to add 4 expansion teams by 2028 but I doubt that Omaha is high on their list, if on it at all. But then again, women's sports (mainly basketball/volleyball) have been popular in the region and both ha...

Re: NHL
I'm quite confused by what the team is doing with their move to SLC. My understanding is that Instead of "relocating," the Coyotes are going to be "dormant" and the new Utah team, while technically the Coyotes, will be an expansion team, beginning play next season. Should the ow...

Re: Nebraska Crossing Village District
Well, the only NHL franchise that was prime for relocation, the Arizona Coyotes, are heading to Salt Lake City. Not that NHL in NE had a great chance but in my mind this would be the nail in the proverbial coffin. I believe the pitch wasn't for relocation anyway, but for expansion right? That’s wha...

A former city councilman told me that this is just a proposal but is very likely to be approved. The fact that the Hilton name was used in the renderings seem to align with that.

This is my thought. Apartments are great, but don't fit the same niche as condos. When we were looking, there was barely anything for condos. Yes! A majority want to own, not rent. It seems like I always see the same kinds of units for sale in the same buildings as 10-20 years ago! This seems to be...
