According to the Omaha World Herald the founding CEO of Think is no longer with them. As I have said before I don't think Think II is happening. Not so fast my friend. Fergus was an eccentric character that had great sometimes grandiose ideas. Look for Rick Pane on being named the next CEO. Great g...

Re: Baseball Parks/Stadiums

Kaufman is great for watching baseball, no doubt. The sad truth is that Kaufman has absolutely nothing near it for food, bars, etc., while the Sprint Center is in a great area with KCLive, etc. & no teams play there. Ironic. To me that's what I like about it. With baseball I'm not a huge fan of...

We went there with a Groupon (KC BBQ) and it was very disappointing.

The staff was really trying hard but not a lot you can do to overcome subpar food.

That area continues to grow. I wonder if they won't build the third high school bigger to accommodate more growth. A little bit off but we live in NW Omaha (156th between Fort and Ida), and the amount of housing under contruction is the most since the early 2000's when we built out there. Definitely...

For MECA I think they did make about as good an offer as they could to the Chasers. Unfortunately the whole thing, MECA, Stadium design, etc still would have been the worst in MiLB. For being offered control, I have to question if that would have included the club area? I got our companies 4 club ti...

People complaining about Werner Park's location make it sound like they built the thing West of Springfield or something. 123rd and Highway 370 is a very busy corridor, and that area will definitely fill in with time. Yes, and it's a 20-25 minute drive to most parts of Omaha. People in larger citie...

It does have a Kauffman feel to it, but without the charm. Kauffman is also a little less circular. With Omaha's track record of hosting these big sporting events, I wouldn't be surp...
