Would Nebraska have the labor pool to staff a 1-2,000 employee car factory? Yes, and they would probably get at least 10 applicants for every position. These are good paying blue-collar jobs, and Nebraska should be bending over backwards to attract jobs like these. Not if it involves the legislatur...

I would tend to disagree. If you are basing it on having the development full and healthy as a whole, it's not been nearly as successful as other developments in the city. If we are trying to determine who the "winners" are, I'd say Westroads, Village Point, Gretna Outlets, and AkSarBen V...

Well, the KETV story does call it a "large video screen".. It doesn't appear to be a Jumbotron, but there appears to be a video screen planned.. After we were lead to believe we would not have it, it's "reappearance" in the plan is a welcome addition... Ciao..LiO...Peace I agree...

With the north garage (rental cars) currently under reconstruction, there's a huge limit on available parking, as the temporary rental car spot takes up a bunch of the south lot. Between the 2 on-airport lots, there were less than 2 dozen available long term spots.... That's clearly going to cause ...

Yeah, it was in a different location. It fits in well with all of the other kid stuff in the area, along with the theatre area for the aviary show.

We are going back to the zoo again tomorrow. 3rd trip in 7 days.

I don't think we have to worry about another L Street Marketplace anytime soon. With the rapidly changing retail landscape, I just don't see those coming on line much anymore. The downsizing of the retail component reflects that. Will be interested to see the retailers that do sign on. I don't think...

They've been bleeding cash since they opened. My Doctor was one of the original investor/founders. Kept asking him about Think II (because one out west would have been much closer to me), and he kept telling me it was not going to happen until they got close to a break even point.

I guess I don't see much of a need for a permanent one and I am not sure that they ever really committed to one either. Bring in a screen for a few Husker games, the NCAA tourney when its in town the Swim Trials and the CWS. The rest of the time they wont need it at all. Not like we have a pro team...
