Re: Nebraska License Plates

Iowa's chosen plate design is fairly nice. My only criticism is that the opposing rural and city skyline idea isn't terribly original. https://dmv.nebraska.gov/sites/dmv.nebraska.gov/files/1993-1995.jpg https://dmv.nebraska.gov/sites/dmv.nebraska.gov/files/1996-1998.jpg https://dmv.nebraska.gov/site...

Re: Toyota looking to build new US plant

Would Nebraska have the labor pool to staff a 1-2,000 employee car factory? Yes, and they would probably get at least 10 applicants for every position. These are good paying blue-collar jobs, and Nebraska should be bending over backwards to attract jobs like these. Not if it involves the legislatur...

The last one that I remember being built was on Highway 50 and Harrison. That was around 2000.

The one in Bellevue according to property records looks to have been built around the same time as well.

That's really strange. It can be hard to find, but usually there's an option on the card reader to skip the PIN prompt and run the transaction as a credit. You could probably beg people to take 10th St, or arrive from the South all day, but they will still take the Interstate. Attendant assisted parking would help. Politics aside, the smaller ballpark was definitely a better fit for the Storm Chasers. They would almost never fill that giant stadium downtown, except for maybe the 4th of July game.

The family stuff they can do like the dog events makes the place more inviting.

If you're looking for an urban living environment, downtown and midtown will be your primary choices. Don't rule out the surrounding neighborhoods. There are plenty of welcoming areas bordering downtown without the density/gentrification premium you'll pay.
