Re: CHI Health Center (Century Link Center) Omaha Remodel
So glad to hear they are building above the docks. I know loading docks are extremely necessary for a convention center, but they always look like wasted space from Riverfront Drive.

Woodbury is a very legit group. Them being involved gives me more optimism. Also I know the increased TIF will rub a lot the wrong way, but I believe the % of the total project being funded through TIF is lower in this proposal. From ~14.3% to 11.4%. Great seeing some new blood brought in to this p...

Maybe not, but it doesn't seem feasible to keep it like that. Not feasible? There is no reason to spend any money to improve 132nd stree...

I love the food hall concept, but I feel anything in a food hall costs $2 more than a regular restaurant. Anyone else feel the same? The westroads food hall prices are even worse than Aksarben.
Yes food prices are higher these days, but it seems like food halls have always been higher.

If you’re upset they’re using TIF for this, it’s likely because you have no clue how TIF actually works. You are exactly right. This has been pointed out over and over but the anti TIF people just don't care. They are improving a facility by renovating (and building new) and in doing so, increasing...
