Kaufman is great for watching baseball, no doubt. The sad truth is that Kaufman has absolutely nothing near it for food, bars, etc., while the Sprint Center is in a great area with KCLive, etc. & no teams play there. Ironic.

April numbers are out. For the month up 6% and up 5.5% for the year. At plus 5.5% it's on track to have way over 4.5 million & maybe over 4.6. The only carrier really having a problem is Delta.

Hmmmm ... Looking at that drawing, they are building the thing right next to the runways. ????? I would think that if they want a rental car center, they would do as most other airports are doing and get it away from the immediate terminal and runway area. Might that location preclude future termin...

I'm curious. What will become of the area where the car rental counters are now? By the way, yes those drawings are impressive. I agree that the skyline could be much improved. Lost opportunities such as HDR. On the other hand, this development adds so much to the marketability of the CLink. Over 300 more class A rooms in a "District" immediately next to the CLINK. Between this and the Hilton gives the CLink almost...

One other thing about this design. Think of the land that would have been free for other development rather the current design needing so much more land for rooms. There would have still been a parking garage behind the Marriott. I don't know if you would have gotten more land back. The Des Moines ...

Glad somebody pointed out the Omaha/Lincoln proximity to counter the "Springs/Pueblo = same size as Omaha" argument. Some dude tried to bring commuter statistics into the fray. But come on. I walk out of my house in La Vista, I can literally be standing in the Haymarket 40 minutes later. ...

Boston seems the most likely. Both Delta and Southwest have a strong presence there. Between the European connections and O&D demand, it would be easy to fill an E170 or 717. Philadelphia would be redundant in this case, as would JFK, since Delta serves LGA. As for FLL, airlines would want to s...

Just playing with the math, if OMA has a 5% increase over 2016 it would be 4,566,357 a record. At a 6% increase it would be 4,610,451. 6% for 2018 puts you at 4,887,079. Another 6% bump in 2019 and you're at 5,180,303 and you're hitting a pretty big target for terminal expansion, yes?
