I think the addition to the old headquarters looks terrible. As for the original part of the building, I would be sad to see it go. If only there is a efficient way to get rid of the addition while preserving the rest. Also, Until I found this website, I had no idea that we had lost so many beatiful...

You are already making me drool. If this amusement park truly comes to pass, it will definately bring Omaha out of its doldrums. I know many people who have traveled to Des Moines just for the reason of going to Adventureland. Also, think of the many coaster enthusiasts out there that will travel th...

What!! Our butterburgers are still the best! Actually, the owner has not yet covered up the bullet hole and you can still see it in the ceiling. I am just glad I was not there at the time. The bullet just missed one of the managers who was standing by the drive thru window, (he does not work there a...

One place that I really enjoyed that I went to years back was la esmaralda which is somewhere around 30th and Q. It is authentic Mexican, but I don't think many Americans go there because of its unusual menu items. If you go, just make sure what you know what your ordering because i don't remember t...

I agree with you all. I think it would be a huge mistake to put a casino near the qwest center. Personally, I don't think expanded gambling is going to do any good for Nebraska. More casinos=more competition among casinos=more advertising=more gamblers (at least thats how I see it) However, if they ...

Hi folks, I am just letting you know that I have been reading all your posts on development in Omaha and have found them to be very fascinating. Since I moved to Omaha 3 years ago, all the development occurring downtown as well as in other areas of omaha have caught my interest. In the past few mont...
