The rumors I heard for the stores that were in negotiations to go in there were shopko, hastings, and a hobby lobby.....the restaurant....havent heard.

The announcers put an emphasis on the H when they say Oma-Ha.  We went saturday night....these are a lot of fun.  We have been all three times, and will continue to go as long as they come back.

There is also the highrise dormitory at Chadron State College.  It is 13 stories.  I lived on the 11th floor for two years......great view of the ridge.

This is becoming very popular. Just a big horse water tank (like the ones under a windmill). You can sit in there with all your buddies with your cooler and have a good time. Everyone always thinks it will be uncomfortable...but it is actually quite comfortable.

I have eaten at the one in Columbus a few times. Very good fish tacos. They have a pretty good selection and fair prices as well. Good to see one in Omaha.

They have three sizeable garages, plus the students all park off 40th street on a ground lot. But with them building the second DRC they wont have enough parking for all the new employees. One of the three lots is only for patients, the other two for the Doctors. They will need to plan for more park...

UNMC had their ground breaking ceremony for their new education building today. When I was walking out of class the channel 6 news van was there, so i would guess this story will be on the news tonite.

On a side note....the ethanol plant in Columbus is planning on expanding its operations from 100 million to 500 million gallons a year. These plants are good for the communities...lots of good jobs.
