Yea, I'm sorry to say this, but you couldn't have picked a worst time weather wise. Hopefully you can check out the holiday lights at the lahey mall and all around downtown Omaha. Just remember what Jeff said, Omaha looks a million times better in the spring.

I'd be against a Borders at VP. All it is currently is a bunch of weird stores not really found in shopping malls. It needs shopping which it really lacks currently. As far as resteraunts goes, they need to stop adding them there, at this rate, it could end up as just a bunch of resteraunts.

City-County Building Expansion?

Annex considered for City-County Building BY TOM SHAW WORLD-HERALD STAFF WRITER Omaha has grown tremendously over the past 30 years, but City Hall hasn't - leading to cramped offices for departments and agencies. To give Omaha and Douglas County workers more space, the downtown City-County Building...

The thing about having a Cheesecake Factory is if we get one here, its not like I'm going to eat there more than once a year. So the way I see it, I'm perfectly fine with eating at one once a year in another city.

I'm sure Oklahoma will win by 4 or 5 touchdowns when the Huskers go to Norman, but I don't think anybody should expect a repeat of what happened in Lubbock.
