So i thought they couldn't bring in any dirt to the wet side of the project that the Army COR. wouldn't let them change any of the elevation of the area but clearly they are  bringing in lots of dirt and adding to the west side of the dik.  Clarification please..

Have you tried Pizza Ranches chicken I think it is some of the best around we usually go out surf side for our chicken but we now go there.

So excited with all the new restaurants we will never have to go to Omaha again.  The family is really enjoying Pizza ranch though we like the chicken more than the pizza.  We have gone to Texas roadhouse a few times and have enjoyed that yet there is always the entire CB population there to eat. ...

Anyone have any idea when they are going to do there first fireworks display i live in playland park on the Iowa side and we are looking forward to seeing what the fireworks look like from our neighborhood.

My family and I live on 39th St. and for 5 years have been trying to obtain info from various city reps on what to expect down here. Our efforts intensified when the city purchased and demolished all the houses on the east side of 40th St.(essentially our backyard). Don Gross offered no explanation...

Anyone heard anything new about development.  Heard rumors of buying houses on ave 40th and B to make room for Parking lots but as many of the other things said going to assume its just a rumor.

So spent all that time and money and it goes back to a green space.  


And also do you know are they going to tear down the empty houses between A and B on 40Th or are they just going be left up for the vagrants and bums to occupy all winter.

Well it was a ballpark and empty open fields but they are supposed to be putting in a water feature / ice skating rink as well as some weird advertising columns that they have been selling space for to get grant money.  So i was just wondering if any one else had heard anything or seen anything.  ...

They are going to take all the dirt from the park and dump it into the riverside.

So i have heard from a high level source that there will be no condos that they are going to take the dirt out and they are going to replant grass that urban revival program will take it over and make it into a more family friendly place to be.

Should have started either friday or Sat.

Just replying that i appreciate every ones comments and if anyone is interested in a possible investment opportunity on a home in the playland park area please let me know.   :D   I am looking forward to see what happens and excited for the new development but it is like a child waiting for a toot...
