I can offer some perspective on this issue of geography and nomenclature. As my avatar indicates, I graduated from the University of South Florida. Welcome back Gary - I hope all is well! All is well. I'm glad I moved here and definitely in for the long haul. Nothing like signing an agreement to make payments in June 2040 to give you a sense of long-term commitment. Hi, Gary. I don't post much either, but I think you work with my husband. :) I...

I've lived here a year and a half without owning a vehicle. It's a struggle sometimes, but it's feasible and the savings are well worth it. I don't know how well it work if you didn't live in downtown or near Dodge, however. The biggest drawback, I've found, is that it limits your employment options...

Many MAT Bus Routes To Change Soon
According to my contact, the system is going to be undergoing a bit of an overhaul. The one route I know about, the 17 (because I take it to work at Ameritrade) will no longer go all the way to downtown. It will now run only to the new MCTC Transit Center on the Metro Community College campus. I sus...

Come to 1904 Farnam (the Service Life Building) right now, and you can audition to be in April Showers , a locally-produced film about a school shooting. Apparently there is a condo development in Miami that is comprised of two towers and a total of 400+ condo units. Â All units were sold prior to breaking ground. The $64,000 Question is... will Tom Osborne be the one to name Nebraska's next football coach? If so, would he bring back Frank Solich (currently coaching at Ohio University)? And just to throw another name out there... Tony Samuel, former Nebraska assistant, former New Mexico State head coach, curr...

Turner Gill has been head coach at historically atrocious Buffalo for a year and a half. He's making some progress there, but I think it's a leap considering the expectations at Nebraska. You guys need someone who's ready to compete at a high level, not a nostalgia hire. Besides, it's tough to fire ...

Re: Too many Winter sporting events scheduled?
Do you think the amount of Winter sports (hockey and Basketball mainly) scheduled in the QWEST hurts the QWEST's chances to land other events/concerts? I don't. UNO hockey plays 17 games at the QWEST center; Creighton basketball plays 18. NBA/NHL arenas host a lot more winter sporting events than t...

I've since seen the clip. I don't know what the rule is, but I'm pretty sure you can't just shove the returner's own teammate into him while he's signalling for a fair catch.
