Re: Omaha Streetcar Discussion
I didn't get a picture as I was driving by, but there were some old railroad ties and rusty rails piled up on the NE corner of Saddle Creek and Leavenworth by the QT which I assume is from the old streetcar tracks they paved over decades ago.

NuStyle is arguably the developer with the most influence on the livability of downtown outside of the Mercers (I am excluding corporate HQs). They have already delivered thousands of units in essentially functionally obsolete buildings. Plug in a couple hundred they are finishing on 24th and 700 he...

Everyone looking for a good rain should be enjoying this one. No thunder, but had been consistent rain for a while now with a few more sustained hours to go. Wondering if it's going to run past that half inch mark b/c it's been decently heavy downtown at times.

Woodbury is a very legit group. Them being involved gives me more optimism.
Also I know the increased TIF will rub a lot the wrong way, but I believe the % of the total project being funded through TIF is lower in this proposal. From ~14.3% to 11.4%.

KC seems like the more obvious choice, but there is only so much market share in one market spread across all of its professional teams. Dallas Love Field does 3x the traffic that OMA does with 20 gates.
