With the NBA season about to start:

Iowa, Iowa St and Nebraska have a combined 3 players in the NBA (all for Iowa ST)

Creighton has 4 (Patton, McDermott, Tolliver, Korver)

Great to see for Creighton!

Good point about maybe this being the silver lining in the situation. I actually grew up hating the Huskers and being a huge Hawkeye fan. I moved to eastern Iowa in 2009 for 3 years and then realized that I actually missed hearing about Nebraska. I never change sports teams, but this is the one exce...

I will say this...it was nice having the tickets so cheap for the Husker game vs Ohio St. I got to take my daughter to our first game. We got tickets on the 10yd line near the tunnel in row 7 for only $25 each. They were great seats. Wish the product on the field at least seemed to care. Overall, we...

Funny you brought this up. On our way to Branson last weekend we went through the one in Springfield, MO, which was the first one built in the US. Traffic seemed to flow pretty smoothly through it. It was a little weird driving south on the left lanes though.

Yes, the city owns the building and leases it to Bass Pro on a 20 year lease to start. That was part of the sweetner to attract Bass Pro to open there.

If you throw out the games at Rosenblatt with over 9,000 people, the average attendance would have taken a huge hit. For most Royals games at the Blatt, they probably only drew 2-3,000.

I tried going to Tacoville today to use my Pinpoint, and they had a sign on the door saying that it was in their best interest to close. Not sure if that means permanently or not, but my guess is they are. If thats true, they only lasted a bit longer than a year.
