Not crazy for the idea of another KFC, but I will say this - just about anything is better than a vacant 4-year old building. Even KFC.

|expletive| People From Omaha Say

Kinda old by internet standards. Thought it was kinda interesting because some of it was true. Don't know if it was already posted here or not.

I don't think the Millard officials have a full grasp on why it was voted down. It's hard to sell a bond issue when you don't have new schools No, it's hard to sell a bond issue when taxpayers already have enough of a burden, especially in the current economic situation. It's the first time and we'r...

I doubt they'd survive up there, but I could be wrong. Maple Street west of 156th is becoming the new West Center west of 168th. Pretty soon there will be a Twin Peaks, several chain stores, and closures left and right.

Surprised they'd start now, but whatever. Considering the other KFC about 2.5 miles from this one, it was due for a change, I guess.

Also, I bet red roof McDonalds are a dying breed.

The initial post was worded weird for me, that's all. I was aware of the KFC, but didn't know what was meant by Taco Bell.

But you're right, pouring a whole new foundation is curious.

It might be tight but it's manageable. My friend and I went there sometimes back in 07/8. We even had time to go to the BK at 175th and Center. I just don't know where exactly they'd put a "closer" location.

I just hope they don't overindulge on SMART Boards. Those things are useless and expensive. When I was at West in 2008 (after the 2005 bond passed and renovations were complete) I admit the changes were nice. On the marching band issue, we'd typically use the parking lot. The grass field (soccer fie...

I'm not sure that you can really draw a correlation between businesses at 120th & Center, and apartments four miles away at 108th & Maple. I'm not. My point is the stores around a specific vicinity tells a lot about the neighborhood. I just used an example of an area I was more familiar wit...

What I meant by "ghetto" didn't have to do with safety. It meant the general area just screams low class hoodlums. The stores around an area is usually a good indicator (example - 120th and Center is lol because of Hooters, the dollar store, and Nobbies. Also iHop).

At first I confused this with the Kona Grill. Then I remembered Kobe moving to VP is still a bit of a dumb idea, especially if where I think it's going is the actual location. Two azn restaurants within stone's throw of each other doesn't seem like a good idea.
