Highly unlikely. MLB teams are the most challenging for a city to maintain given the number of home games they play. And there are many other untapped markets the MLB could go to before Omaha.

KC seems like the more obvious choice, but each of a an area’s professional teams can only have so much market share in a given market. KC, which is a relatively small market, may be at their limit with the 3 teams they have.
