Re: Omaha Eppley Airfield

We recently flew nonstop from Omaha to MIA. Just under three hours flight time. Great to leave the cold and three hours later be in the tropics.
As an added bonus, our plane from Omaha to MIA was also our plane to Key West.

I agree, the Capitol District would probably be the best place for them. I would love to see them open there. Naaaaaaaaaaaah. Let's keep Omaha local. The more local the better. If we chain-ify and Disney-fy this place we lose what little character we have, and I think the character of Omaha is perh...

That building was the only portion of a much larger project slated for that block that was actually completed. Originally a 19 story apartment building was to be constructed just to the east of that building. Does anyone remember this?

We own a house on the east side of 48th street, near Pacific. This will definitely change the feel of the neighborhood. Not sure whether it is good or bad from our financial viewpoint, but the neighborhood is very popular due to the huge influx of jobs at the Med Center.

Perkins restaurants now seem relegated to small towns. The one in Hastings seems to only allow people with walkers and oxygen tanks to eat there.
