Re: Nebraska Crossing Village District
They literally just photoshopped the Theodore Roosevelt presidental library rendering for that page, so we don't even know if conversations are even being had with Snohetta. Plus it looks like the only stadia experience they have is a design proposal for the Golden State Warriors from 10 years ago? ...

I mean, at least they can curate the collection and exhibits as it is located within another museum and maybe move to Omaha down the road. One can hope it can be in the next round of cultural institution construction here.

I personally prefer the Stadler design. Also, more of a getting our foot in the door with Stadler with the eventual hope of utilizing them for DMUs down the road with a regional rail system with Lincoln.

I don't have the time (or patience lol) to watch the whole thing, but I'm curious what made them propose a 12-15 story tower at first and then drop it down so drastically to 6 stories. They are now working on the third floor of this building. Tentative completion/move-in ready is scheduled for Spring 2024. Being next to this, it will add some decent density to the area. Nice infill for sure.

This is one of my favorite places to go. Have been there dozens of times (Yes, I know.) since the Omaha location opened in August. The ciders are really good. They have several mainstays, seasonals, and small batches. They also have non-alcoholic versions of some of their popular options. The cider ...

I thought for tax purposes (or something like that) a public park, regardless of the municipal entity that owns it, cannot be sold for anything like a market value. I could be completely wrong and sound like I put a bunch of big words together to sound well-versed.
