I've always found it interesting you see signs for "North Omaha". I guess it makes sense since 680 is a place to turn, but I always found it funny. As if North Omaha is much of a destination. They also have those signs on HWY 275 for HWY 36. It is nice when coming back to town, if you live...

I wonder where they plan on going with it. If you draw a line from 19th & Harney, its over 3 miles to either the airport or NOTC. In the grant it says 3 miles. I guess it'll go up 19th to Lake, then its anybody's guess from that point. I realized it would be okay for it to go up 19th. The 18 onl...

I was pretty disappointed with the Toyotas. What they did pitting early all together really shook up the race and made it really interesting. Only to have them wreck each other.

In response to a couple posts up, I definitely think we should pump the brakes on extensions. Let's wait for the streetcar to run for a couple years and find out where the demand really is. The only extensions that really make any sense to be considering IMO are linear extensions of the Farnam backb...

They were budding early. If I had to estimate, thery were about 2-3 weeks early. The fact trees are blooming at and well before the usual last freeze says it's been a warm winter and spring. Luckily it doesn't look like there'll be a hard freeze to accompany the early budding and blooming.

I always hated this section, for, if you miss the access road exit, you're on the hook between Center and Harrison. I never got why, of any stretch of interstate in Omaha, any of them had to be divided like this one. Bad design in my book.
