Kinda weird... So your garage is effectively your front door and your front door only gets used when you feel like going for a cute little 300 ft walk. Okay... :?

That whole southwest area of downtown is becoming my favorite. I see it becoming the "living" portion of downtown and it'll be nice to see the area fill up with residents and everyday needs kind of businesses.

Some of us think it's a waste of tax payer dollars providing all these buses that you see driving around town with just one or two people in it. Hmm, I'm beginning to think that half of the city couldn't come close to being able to afford all the niceties its experie...

Re: Omaha transportation's $7.4B future

In an ideal, utopian city, you would certainly not be deprived of a bus line on major thoroughfares such as 132nd Street. However, the style of low-density, autocentric, non-grided suburban development that has been allowed to occur in that area makes transit financially unfeasible. It's a trade of...

Humans are always going to have errors because we’re human. We just can’t avoid the obvious advantage of lives saved by having a much safer driving situation. I don't think it's going to be that peachy. Machines, cumputers, and robots fail all the time for the very same reason. Also, I'd argue most...

Is a Streetcar not an autonomous vehicle? Streetcars have operators, as long as we keep it that way. Which reminds me of the D.C. metro accident. Right now I can drive hands free with my car for about 80% of my 17 mile drive to work. If Omaha and Papillion would do a better job of marking the stree...
