Re: North Saddle Creek improvement

They need to repave or overlay the Peanut. Something needs to be done at the 5 way. At evening rush hour it backs up onto Saddle Creek. If the Apartment gets built, it will only get worse. I think one of the new stories I saw said the 5 way was going to become a 4 way. Not sure how this improves th...

So cool to see this finally come about and definitely pleased with the location . I saw a couple of posts above where the offer was rescinded to build next to Hot Shops and can't help but thinking this was probably for the best. Does anybody else think where the stadium is going now might actually s...

Re: Omaha Streetcar Discussion

In yesterday's OWH there was an article about street closures for utility relocation for the streetcar. I could not read it all because I no longer have a subscription. It mentioned several streets and about half a dozen locations that were soon to be blocked off for this. Clearly this type of work ...

I guess I don't mind some advertising on cars if it helps pay the bills. However, it would be nice if that could be done in a way that wasn't totally tacky or over the top. The example you provided isn't too bad.

I see that the Streetcar Authority has decided to postpone the stretch of track that was to go down 10th and Capital in an effort to prevent cost overruns and focus on more north/south expansion. Admittedly that is kind of a bummer as that particular station probably would have been one of the ones ...

The Rockefeller Center has chosen its Christmas tree for the 2023 holiday season. This year's tree is an 80-foot tall Norway Spruce from Vestal, New York, the Rockefeller Center announced on its website.
