Re: Odds of President Trump making it the full 4 years.

The only way he's forced out is if the Dems take both houses of Congress in 2018. I would have thought this was a certainty at the end of 2016, but the Democrats are doing everything in their power to leave Congress in Republican hands. They're doubling down on the things that cost them in 2016, the...

Has anyone been to Umami in Bellevue. I hear it's crazy good---definitely on my list for my next Omaha visit. I haven't been there yet, but a guy who I really trust raves about it. He has eaten dozens of Michelin starred restaurants and some of the really pricey sushi places in New York and Tokyo. ...

Re: Wooing Businesses To Omaha

Does Omaha really need another chain burger/pizza/whatever joint, or a chain anything? Omaha has plenty of home grown places that are much better than In& Out, Shake Shack, etc.. Sometimes I think the people posting this stuff are really cardiologists trying to drum up business. I think Omaha i...

If you really want to get new businesses to Omaha, then open a franchise. All it takes is money. I don't think Shake Shack does the franchise thing. If they did I would kidnap some of you, harvest your kidneys, and sell them on the black market to bring it here. Not that I'm a violent person, but I...
