I rode from Chicago to Des Moines in early July. No smoking is allowed anywhere. Which is good because to be honest, the airflow in the bus is not impressive.

Not to derail the 4G conversation, but I would recommend Sprint. It's not perfect, but in Omaha it's very good. I can only think of 2 main issues: At my home, I get 1 bar of reception. If I walk a block away from my home, I lose it completely. In some parts of the UNO campus, I don't get reception. ...

I've heard that the Donut Stop on South 13 St is a late-night study place. Donut Stop would be a big mistake. Loud teenagers (such as myself ;)) playing board games, chatting, and generally being obnoxious. I would be surprised if the universities in Omaha didn't have libraries that stay open late....
