Royals officials did meet with Sarpy County Officials on Tuesday.  I assume they are trying to leverage a deal with Omaha.

It is $2.59 for E85, not mid grade.  Mid grade is the other price listed on the sign, and is in line with what other gas stations are offering.  I thought it was pretty deceiving when I drove by.  I was disappointed they did not build a car wash.

I did not see this posted but a member of management at the Lazlos out at 192nd and Center said that the closed Fremont location will be moved, yes the building, to the site they purchased at 96th and Giles.  They hope to open around March

If this is true then the City has done quite a bit of work very quietly.  I would assume the NCAA would have to see detailed plans for the ballpark before signing on the dotted line, and if the park is to be done in two years the plan has to have progressed much farther than it was when the story br...

Does anyone have an idea when Lazlos is going to break ground at 96th and Giles in La Vista?

A new sign by "Buland Group Construction" has been out up on the parcel once bought by ShopKo on the NW corner of 96th and Giles. I assume that means they begin building whatever is to go there shortly. Also on the SW corner, they seem to be building out the Val Verde strip mall by develop...

Not to mention the area up the street (literaly) from me at the NW corner of 96th and Giles where ShopKo once was going to build. I suspect there will be an explosion in the next 3 years all along Giles.

When was the last time the baseball tournament had a team from lincoln or "outstate" in the finals? It seems as though Omaha dominates the baseball tournament.

Chattanooga has an outlet mall in two or three old warehouses connected to one another in downtown. They seem to be the premium outlets, Polo, Brooks Brothers, Gap, etc. It would seem to fit into the area around Qwest. The extra seats don't look like they will be done by the beginning of the CU basketball season this fall. Season ticket renewals were sent out and they have the configuration the same as it was this year.

Rumor has it that it would be placed on the Platte River near I-80.
