PayPal mobile would also require the payer and payee both have a PayPal account, no?

I think Square would play well with the ubiquity of credit cards.

Although, I'm continually amazed by the number of small businesses that still operate on fax and check books only, without email or ACH of any kind.

I haven't seen a straight on shot of what was there, but between that quarter block and immediately to the north (fire station) there was definitely some old building stock lost somewhere along the line.  The fire state was a hotel at some point, maybe 4 stories?  You can find it in the background ...
