Fuddruckers - YUCK! It was gross when I last ate there...15 years ago...I didn't even know they still existed!  I long for a really clever, hip, independent restaurant in West O with a creative menu...not another outdated, chain restaurant...give me a break!

Yes, having grown up in the San Francisco Bay Area, and lived in San Diego , Orange County and Dallas, I consider Omaha to be a big, small town. Fortunately, I've never lived in LA, CA and don't think that I could. I don't think that Omaha acts or thinks like a big city...at least that's my verdict ...

Most of the CA cities listed are on the outskirts of bigger ares...Ontario/Fontana are on the outskirts of La/OC. Palmdale, Lancaster, are on the outskirts of LA. I forgot about the Melting Pot - THat was one of my favorite places to go in high school...they closed where I grew up 10-15 years ago , I was thrilled to see it here in Omaha! That's a great idea - we love fondue!

By the way...Fleming's is one of my favorite restaurants...even though it's a chain. It never disappoints. There is one in Newport Beach that we've eaten at a couple of times, so I think I'll try something new this time.
