US Conference of Mayors long term metro population report-

Omaha’s metro (not CSA) is projected to grow 27.3% between 2016 to 2046 and have a population of 1,178,000 million.. keeping it at the ranking of the 58th largest metro. What is startling, is to see the projected population drops over the next 30 years of Rochester and especially Buffalo NY. The lon...

Re: Creighton Basketball 2017-2018

The Jays play very good defense..which should keep them in most games, home and away, in the Big East.. They just couldn’t throw it into the ocean in the 2nd half vs Baylor.. I, too, like the looks of this team. Let’s hope this year they develop the mental toughness to go along with their obvious on...

Re: Nebraska Football 2017

Another loss.. Looking on the bright side, the team, at least, competed this week until the end..as opposed to laying down vs Minnesota.. Tanner Lee and the receiver corps had a nice 2nd half.. On to Black Friday and the expected loss that will end the NU season at 4-8 and end this particular coachi...

Re: Omaha Area Kmart Discussion

When I lived in Omaha back in the 80's and 90's, I went to the Kmart on 122nd and W Center plenty of times. It was a good store. When it closed in 2002, I was sad and got somewhat sentimental. :( Have you gotten over it? Of course I have. What kind of question is that? You know, I worked ...

Just saw that they are selling growlers now and you can take any of their tapped beer home with you. I may have missed a change in the laws, but I thought the reason was crowlers were being used was b/c they couldn't do the normal growler at these places. This is very good news. Nebraska's Hail Mary win over Northwestern was their biggest moment of the 2013 season.
