Heard the hold up was over the bank. I guess the bank wants too much money and Chikdren’s didn’t want to pay so the bank is staying.

I'd love to know why they pulled out. I've not heard anything about any protests from the neighborhood. It seems to me this should've been a slam dunk. Financing I would assume. Just sad. Sad. Sad news. Every single time we travel to KC we will spend an hour at their River Market, stocking up on produce, ethnic foods and seasonings before we head home. I've been doing this for 20 years. Omaha is truly missing out on a major attraction both for residents as well as tourists...

The reconstruction of the entire interchange will be a bigger deal than this. It’ll completely change the feel of the area as it tries to tie the Playland Park development into west broadway.

The building permit for the W DSM Store said $3 million with 7,160sq-ft. I originally posted that hoping someone would do the work and find the specs. Cause I can’t find the Omaha specs..
