I found this to be some really interesting data.. Especially going back the last 20 years or so ago.. this shows Omaha at a current 21.4% gentrification rate for eligible city census tracts since 2000.. Also interesting is clicking the links for gentrification maps and seeing the data for the top 5...

CBD having a nice bounce back from ConAgra. 58K SF absorbed this quarter and 112K SF YTD absorption. As the W-H piece points out, a strong indicator of an excellent economy combined with increased demand for larger planes, more seats and now a record 29 non stop destinations.. I agree. Another example of this is in Papillion on 96th St just north of Hwy 370. They have grassy medians with trees, but 1/2 the trees are dead or in sad shape. It's looking really, really great, imo. I love how Omaha has this broad-faced glassy hotel on the skyline now, reminding me of Phoenix's broad-faced Downtown Sheraton, and Dallas's broad-faced Downtown Omni Hotel (in a way).
