I wonder if they are building more of their housing units there. Its my understanding they have small houses that their clients live in which is really great instead of living in one giant facility. Makes it more homelike for them and more personalized care.

The Taco Bell is going up but what is going in next to it? There is another pad being put in right now to the South of Taco Bell but no sign of what it might be. Anyone know?

I have to say they did a very nice job on the Bakers at 72nd and Military. I had stopped going in there but with the new remodel have began to go there more often now.

72nd? It looks like they are installing outdoor stages or something!

They have the ground torn up in the lot north of Applebees now and a sign that says Panda Express coming soon.

Offical Grand opening news on Fareway website and On the door of the store. December 5th. Drove by last night hoping they were open but not yet. Â :D

I searched all over for any mention of this. They have remodeled (at least) the outside of the former KFC building at 60t and Ames.

I saw a parking lot full this afternoon when I came home from work. I can't find anything out about this online so am wondering if anyone else knows anything about it?

Hubs saw trucks and contractors over there yesterday. He also talked to someone at Harbor Freight that said he had seen some movement over there also.

Hubs heard this week that Walmart is taking over the current spot where Hobby Lobby is on 90th street to put one of their Neighborhood Markets (Or whatever they are calling them). Â Don't know if this is true either.

It is open now and very nice! It looks like they are going to open some type of internet/computer room as there is a glassed off room at the back with a sign that says Internet Cafe.

I was in the Goodwill store over by the VA Hospital last week and there was a sign posted there that they would be moving to Benson beginning September 5.

They had sold most of the merchandise out of that store and it was over half empty then. Seems weird to me they would open on Sunday though?

Yesterday was their grand opening. Where I work is about 2 blocks from there and several people were raving about the burgers they got there on Friday.

I think it is a great idea! Low over head and great hours. Plus you get to be your own boss. I am not a gourmet chef by any means but I do know how to make some pretty mean comfort food. ..... Hmm something to think about. Â :lol:

Has anyone heard anymore about the Urban Grocery? I caught something on the news the other night that it would be "Like a Trader Joe's".

I believe that Steve and Barry's had to close some of their stores. The last I knew the one on 84th St was still open but this one has just been sitting here empty.

We get most of our Chinese at House Of Lee at 90th and Fort. It is really fast and you can dine in our take home. Lots of takeout goes out of there. I think they also have a place downtown or midtown somewhere.

The Cici's in Benson Park Plaza is now closed I think there is one still open on Saddle Creek.

I noticed just this week that there is a coming soon sign for CiCis Pizza on the end of the building that Hancock Fabrics is in. I tried to see if this was listed anywhere else but no search brought it up anywhere.

I stopped yesterday and brought some things home. I got there about 9am and it looked like a lot of the stuff had been cleared out. The things I brought home for breakfast were great.
