Construction starting this week. After several projects being delayed or abandoned this is great news. Lincoln is certainly not one that quickly builds.

I think this one has a lot better chance of happening soon compared to the other "ideas" of development (i.e. 9th and O and 9th and P streets). It may be on the city council's agenda tomorrow, 1/14, and the linked article also seems to think there's a push to get it started this spring. LJ...

The 5168 Brewing's Hawaiian Porter is very good. We stopped by the south Lincoln location and had the recently tapped porter. Good stuff.

A recently announced plan for another old Haymarket building at 8th and O Street. It should be a great fit when it's all done. For those who aren't familiar this one sits just south of the Harris overpass on 8th Street...directly south of Bin 105's location.

The street signs here in Lincoln on main streets are somewhat odd.  The street sign on the top (for the cross street) is bigger than the one on the bottom, the sign for the main street.
