This development is an interesting surprise. I didn't realize such a big conversion to apartments was happening in this building, well I don't know if I even remember seeing this building before.

This looks like a great building and Omaha is lucky to have them in a part of the city that is pretty centrally located when TD Ameritrade could have built along the 370 or past 200th and Dodge. It is fun to see the tower driving north on I680 when coming over the hill by Pacific Street.

When I lived in C.B. there were a lot of strays in the old historic part of town. A couple of different neighbors adopted cats into their homes permanently. I used to put food out for one. Thinking back I should have just caught it and gotten it its vaccinations.

Isn't that building big enough for at least a couple smaller tenants?
That could be a good idea.  Maybe sort of a food court with different options.  Maybe some of your typical fast food chains or maybe food truck style fusion restaurants or something.

I like brick more, but would go the cost-effective route.  Maybe keep brick in the heart of the Old Market, but save in the rest of downtown and use the tiles or other alternative.

Cool, I'll have a location closer to me than the one I currently use.  $10 a month is all it costs me because I signed up during one of their promo's.  It's not too hard to work out when you can plug your earbuds in and watch Storage Wars or something while you run.
