Looks like Jimmy's will not be the first in Lake Manawa. Doozie's took over and rebuilt the Crumbs Bakery Cafe on 321 Comanche and opened in April. Apparently there used to be a Lake Manawa Ice Cream Shoppe at 4105 Comanche, most likely what Grandpa was referring to. Now I come back to this thread b...

Re: Jimmy's All American Malt Shop and Grill (Manawa)

There was an ice cream/burger place there for years. I stopped there for a cone or a malt a hundred times before I drove around the lake. Nobody in the car ever once said "Don't stop there I don't want a cone or a drink lets just drive around the lake." Ice cream treats and drives around ...

Sheesh, don't jump the shark too quick. 3 plays... NIU doesn't jump the bubble screen for a pick 6 and NU throws a TD... 7-0 NU offensive line protects Lee and he doesn't throw another pick 6... 7-0 Officials call the pass interference in the endzone, ball on the 2, NU goes into half up 14-0. This is just a guess by following what little info is out there:
Jimmy's Malt Shop
From the pic I'm guessing at 1050 Wright Rd
Owned by R&R Equities LLC
Owned by H James Raltiff
Also owns Evans Ice Cream Operations LLC
May have been at one time the Evans Ice Cream at 108 E Broadway

I've really questioned the play calling on offense. I didn't see the game today, but I see they lost and Tanner threw more picks. What's the analysis today? 2 Pick 6's. One being a brilliant jump. Horrible offensive line. Dropped passes. Horrible offensive line. One critically blown pass play late ...
