I visited Sand Hills GC back when it was under construction.  My father has played it, and a neighbor is a member. It is truly a treasure.  The Nicklaus club sounds like it may end up being a little bit hack in comparison, but should end up being world-class as well. The Sand Hills are ideal for g...

While I haven't seen the poll, I read the article that I assume it refers to (covering the impending annexation of Elkhorn), and perhaps the poll was referring to the amount of land area that the city covers.  Not the overall population of the city. If that is the case, I would say that likely yes,...

EVERY city has a warehouse district, fancy restaurants, tall skyscrapers, zoos, baseball stadiums, museums, parks, performing arts centers, and so on. NOT EVERY city has Boys Town. It's a step back, because from DIA, practically everywhere in the US is a direct flight. (One connection)

From Omaha, you're gonna have to connect again unless your destination is a hub city like Chicago, Dallas, or Denver. Same thing for flying out of MCI. (Two or more connections, usually)

WEP can be cracked pretty easily. How so? Just an example: http://www.tomsnetworking.com/2005/05/10/how_to_crack_wep_/ There are tools readily available to allow WEP passcode cracking (ie AirCrack). WPA and WPA2 are much more secure. That's exactly why I only use WPA2 + MAC filtering. Not only is W...

Since the climate is so much drier in Denver, the possibility of starting fires and the danger of those fires getting wildly out of control is quite a bit higher than in Omaha. I suppose that has a big effect on people.

The NFL does support KC as a franchise. When the stadium referendums came up down there, the NFL promised a Super Bowl if KC passed the rolling roof portion. She pandered to her readership a little bit, same thing that Shatel does...but I suppose that's a necessary evil at the OWH. I enjoyed her writing more when she was in college and wrote for the Daily Nebraskan...IMO, that was really her best stuff.
