Re: 2024 Weather Thread

There has been a tornado warned storm east of Columbus for quite a while now. However in the past hour, a whole line of storms has fired south of that storm all the way to the Kansas Border. Also an isolated cell popping up on the south side of Lincoln. LOL, and just like the the lines breaks up so...

I used to use that ramp all the time on my way from 80 East to Pacific Street. For at least 10 years they have had “Temporary” barrels blocking anyone from using that small stretch of pavement. I could resort to an earthy colloquialism to indicate that the State Department of Transportation should,...

Speaking of "kinks". I was a little concerned over where that was heading... I've always wondered what the heck the story is around the Center I80 off and on ramps. Why is this little thing there and never used? https://i.postimg.cc/S2tPr1qz/Untitled2.png It was used when it first opened,...

it takes a slight turn about 10 or 20 degrees right. Its only 2.7 Degrees to the right. Well, I just never saw the need for it. The terrain there certainly isn't unstable. You know how just after entering Douglas County and Omaha, I-80 veers north up towards L Street? Well, just as it descends toward Q, it takes a slight turn about 10 or 20 degrees right. I saw three of them this evening, all on the Iowa side of the Missouri River. The Biggest was east of the zoo, next was east of Eppley, and the third and smallest was just north of the Bob Kerry Bridge. The one North of the Bob Kerry bridge might be the same fire that was going on a few days ago too.
