Just a reminder how TIF Actually works.... No Money is ever handed out. The city is not writing checks to deveopers. Also, if the developer doesn't do anything, they don't get any of the TIF Benefit. You can see the timbers through the window, around the entrance, and inside the main lobby. Its technically a "Hybrid mass timber building" so there are not a ton of timbers in there.

It wasn't as big of a deal when 77 was built. Now with all the money spent on the new Highway 2, its way more important to have that section of 77 built up to freeway standards.
