I wonder how many restaurants have been in and out of Miracle Hills Park? I can think of Stokes, Taj, Boston Market, HuHot, Cilantro's, Hong Kong Cafe, DJ's Dugout (wasn't there a dueling piano bar inside DJ's?)... Yes, and before DJ's it was called "The Scorecard". There was also a subwa...

It seemed every other bay was a themed dance club. But its not like all those clubs move, its more like the dance club fad faded and they closed. What ever happened to the plan of converting Miracle Hills golf course into a park with mixed-use commercial district? I take it the golf course changed ...

This evening. Even at just 11 floors it’s already looking pretty impressive. Probably more like 12 or 13 at the top of the yellow. In your photo, floor 9 is just below the walkway, 10 is behind the walkway, 11 is just above the walkway, just blow the yellow, so 12 and possibly 13 are under the yell...

Re: NHL
I guess that takes SLC out as an expansion city competitor. Yes but Phoenix just takes their place for now. Phoenix has been a massive failure, why would they take their place? SLC will suck for a few years until the new hockey arena is built. The Delta Center is not a hockey arena, but they will b...

I'm old enough to remember when 114th was a popular late night area. I seem to remember there being a Lone Star Steakhouse in Miracle Hills Square along with Funny Bone Comedy Club. Am I remembering that correctly? Yep, Where Sand Point is now. It was Julios for a min, before that Lone Star, and be...

I just went back and looked at the other thread and this was announced back in November. Seem odd to announce a closing so far in advance of the actual closing. Its not like a retail location that has lots of inventory to liquidate.

I disagree, the shopping center across the street to the east does very well and I'm sure this one will too when the remodeling is finished. It looks way better after the remodel.

I used to use that ramp all the time on my way from 80 East to Pacific Street. For at least 10 years they have had “Temporary” barrels blocking anyone from using that small stretch of pavement.
