Saturday September 30th, Casual Pint, Timber, Inkwell, and Cedar are throwing a joint Oktoberfest at Countryside Village. Its going to be in the parking lot between the buildings. Live bands, food, and of course beer!

Due to a scheduling conflict on Saturday we pre-recorded Grow Omaha this morning. Trenton brought up the parking for this project and apparently it falls under some new zoning where they allow less parking than normal.

They mentioned on Grow Omaha last weekend that this will be a 5000 SQ FT restaurant with a couple hundred thousand dollar remodel.

They are going to have regular menu items, but also some tables will have grills built in where you can cook your own food at the table.

Also, anyone else notice that when Zorinksy was built, it was built so that houses could get closer to the water, while today it seems that all of our lakes are built with larger park areas surrounding them. I think once Prairie Queen gets built out, its going to seem a lot closer than it does now....

I still don't see a website or FB Page. Anyone know whats on the menu? The only "Walking Taco" I am familiar with are the Walking Tacos that Toby Jack's Minneola Steakhouse serves on Thursdays at the Taco Ride. Its basically Taco Meat and Cheese dumped in to a bag of Doritos...

Large amount of dirt being moved at 96th and Giles behind Mama's Pizza. Its owned by "LA VISTA SENIOR HOUSING LLC" so you can guess whats going in there.

Hotel looks to be open according to the construction cam. Looks great on the construction cam with all the fencing and what not taken away. Still see lots of workers there though.
