One Christmas Eve around '79 or '80 we walked out of a midnight mass in Lyons, Nebraska and it was snowing. Â I don't recall if it amounted to much but I remember how serendipitous that moment was, seeing the falling snow glimmer against the backdrop of a church on Christmas Eve.
